A good read below about using the skill set of improvisational comedy to be better leaders and communicators. UW-Madison has its own monthly sessions on this subject matter at UW-IT Connects – Leadership Improv.
Leadership Improv provides a monthly opportunity to learn and practice improvisational skills through active participation in exercises and skits to help tackle difficult leadership situations experienced in our daily work on the UW campus. This program promotes improvisational skills as a recommended leadership competency. Leadership Improv meets every last Friday of each month from 12:00-1:15, except November and December due to holidays.
The community co-chairs are Sean Bossinger and Jason Erdmann. Register for their event emails at join-leadership-improv@lists.wisc.edu today!
