I was just introduced to Melissa Hughes and her work on cognitive bias. With deep roots in education, Melissa spent the first part of her career learning how the brain works and how to make it work better for students. What she discovered is that learning how to learn, how to solve problems, and think creatively doesn’t become less important when you leave the classroom – it becomes more important.
