Leadership and Management Development Conference registration ends Tomorrow!

Calling all emerging and experienced campus leaders,

Registration Deadline:  Friday, November 1st

Join us on Wednesday, November 13 at the Leadership and Management Development Conference at Union South. This low-cost, all-day conference is for you if you would like to develop your skills to lead and manage more effectively.

Faculty, staff and community members are welcome. While the conference is tailored to developing leadership and management skills, employees do not need to be in a position of direct leadership to attend and benefit from the Leadership and Management Development Conference. Last year, 99% of those who attended said the conference would help them be more successful at work.

Our keynote speaker, Dr. Amy Climer, will speak about the importance of and how to lead deliberately creative teams. Dr. Climer is a speaker and coach who focuses on how to cultivate innovative teams that effectively and efficiently solve problems. You can watch her TEDx talk here. Throughout the day, Dr. Climer will also offer smaller, more intimate breakout sessions.

In addition to Dr. Climer’s keynote address, there will be 20 breakout sessions, each evaluated to be on an “Advanced Leader” or “Emerging Leader” track, that focus on topics ranging from influencing without authority, empowering employees, change tolerance, and many more. To view the complete listing of the sessions being offered, check out the conference website.

Even though we have top-notch speakers lined up, some of the most important and meaningful conversations and ideas come from you! Connecting and networking with other leaders is essential to growing your strengths, recognizing and learning about your weaknesses, and being the best leader possible. If you would like to be a part of a campus community that inspires growth, change, and learning, register for the Leadership and Management Development Conference today.
