Below is a link to an excellent article about using the practices of improv to help lead your team. Did you know we have a group on campus where we practice these skills?
Leadership Improv provides a monthly opportunity to learn and practice improvisational skills through active participation in exercises and skits to help tackle difficult leadership situations experienced in technology professional’s daily work. This program is intended to build on the curriculum and concepts shared at the Information Technology Leadership Program (ITLP) and promotes improvisational skills as a recommended leadership competency. This group meets every last Friday of each month from 12:00-1:15.
The community co-chairs are Sean Bossinger and Jason Erdmann.
